Matt has had a deep interest in data, machine learning and AI throughout his career. He organizes Data Driven NYC (the largest data and AI meetup in the US), hosts the MAD (ML, AI, Data) Podcast and publishes the MAD Landscape, the ultimate annual market map of the data/AI industry.
Earlier in his career, Matt was an entrepreneur and the co-founder of TripleHop Technologies, an enterprise AI search startup ultimately acquired by Oracle, and then an executive at Oracle, following the acquisition. Immediately prior to FirstMark, he was a Managing Director at Bloomberg Ventures, the incubation and venture arm of Bloomberg LP, which he helped start.
