We’re excited to announce that David Waltcher has joined FirstMark as a Principal focused on enterprise software!

David will be based in New York and work closely with Amish to partner with early-stage entrepreneurs building products which serve developers and technical use cases in the enterprise.

David joins FirstMark from Accel, where he spent six and a half years in the Bay Area, leading investments in a number of enterprise, fintech and consumer businesses. As an investor, David has had a front-row seat to the journeys of many notable companies, including: Browserstack, Freshworks (FRSH), Higo, Jellyfish, Klaviyo (KVYO), Monzo, Nuvemshop, Pismo (acquired by Visa), Shogun, Pluang, Truebill (acquired by Rocket), and Veza, among others. His learnings on scaling teams, developing a go-to-market playbook, and winning on product roadmap will strongly resonate with our current and future founders. David’s experience working with companies from the earliest stages through to exit makes him a great fit for FirstMark.

With over $1 billion in fresh capital and a track record of partnering with founders who build iconic companies, FirstMark continues to scale on our strong foundation. We are thrilled to welcome David as the newest member of our investing team!

As a fourth-generation, native New Yorker, David is excited to replant his roots in NYC for the long term.
